We specialize in Yin and Hatha Vinyasa yoga. Throughout the year we run day retreats which include morning and afternoon yoga, meditation, yoga nidra, a wellness workshop/guest speaker and wholesome vegetarian food. Our day retreats are held at a beautiful Mediterranean-style home and garden in Bethlehem, Tauranga.
Hi, my name is Lauren Anning.
I am a qualified personal trainer and yoga teacher having studied Hatha, pre and post natal, children’s and teens yoga with Santosha in Bali and Yin yoga in New Zealand with Bodhi Yoga. I have been practicing yoga for a number of years. Yoga has been such a wonderful teacher in my life, what was first just a workout soon became a daily ritual of self-enquiry and self-discovery.

I began to see the difference between practicing yoga postures and actually having a yoga practice. I developed an awareness of my mind and body and let my breath guide every movement on and off the mat. Yoga is a journey, no class is ever the same it’s about accepting where you are, being kind to your body and being fully, deeply and genuinely present.

My intention is to simply share my knowledge and experience of yoga. To provide informed guidance and inspiration for others to live happier and healthier lives. I encourage each of my students to be kind to their body, become an observer of their mind and to connect to their breath, for them to feel grounded and content.
Each class is a combination of yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation.
